The truth is... I didn't just survive opiate addiction, with God, I surmounted that mountain and now my truth is a lifeline for others. I don't fit the "stigmatized addicts' profile." Never have and never will, but this is the reality of my life. It is a triathlon that is completely unpredictable! We can't train for it, often we don't foresee it, but when the ugliness of life happens... We have two choices: either we fight or succumb. I fought and I Won!
