Sebastian Radu is an unusual kid... perhaps the most unusual kid presently living in America. That's because he's a one-hundred-thirty-year-old warlock who looks all of eighteen.

Born to a Romanian family of witches, whose lifetimes often extend beyond six hundred years, the Radus have long been at war with another family of similar dark gifts, the Mateis. When the Mateis step up their efforts to wipe the Radus from the face of the Earth, Sebastian and his family flee Chicago and head south to the quaint and quirky town of Denmark, Tennessee.

Home to the "World's Largest Frog Leg Fry" and offering a more carefree lifestyle, Denmark appears to be the perfect place to hide... provided the Radus can fit in to a much slower and 'non-magical' pace. More importantly, Denmark is the place where an ancient talisman has been hidden-one that can provide salvation from their adversaries.

Having purchased an old plantation house known locally as "Twin Magnolias", the family begins to settle into the community where daily life is always interesting, if not humorous. But everything changes when the Mateis also take up residence in the unsuspecting town.

The deadly conflict renewed, it becomes imperative for Sebastian and his family to locate the hidden relic before the Mateis find it first. The threat of an all-out witch war soon threatens Denmark's survival.

Spurred on by the power of love, as the youngest Matei daughter captures Sebastian's heart, can it aid him in finding a way to heal the hatred and spare his family from fleeing their sworn enemies once more? Or, is the Mateis' thirst for vengeance to atone for an ancient tragedy too much for the Radus to overcome?

The answer to these questions and more awaits discovery in The Witches of Denmark....

Acclaim for Aiden James:

"Aiden James has written a deeply psychological, gripping tale that keeps the readers hooked from page one." Bookfinds review for "The Forgotten Eden"

"A variety of twists, surprises, and subplots keep the story moving forward at a good pace. My interest was piqued almost immediately and my attention never wavered as I forced my eyes to stay open well into the night. (Sleep is overrated.) Aiden James is a Master Storyteller, whose career is on the rise! Out-freaking-standing-excellent!" Detra Fitch of Huntress Reviews, for "Immortal Plague"

"Aiden James' writing style flows very easily and I found that Cades Cove snowballed into a very gripping tale. Clearly the strengths in the piece were as the spirit's interaction became prevalent with the family.... The Indian lore and ceremonies and the flashbacks to Allie Mae's (earthly) demise were very powerful. I think those aspects separated the work from what we've seen before in horror and ghost tales." Evelyn Klebert, Author of "A Ghost of a Chance", "Dragonflies", and "An Uneasy Traveler" for "Cades Cove"

"The intense writing style of Aiden James kept my eyes glued to the story and the pages seemed to fly by at warp speed.... Twists, turns, and surprises pop up at random times to keep the reader off balance. It all blends together to create one of the best stories I have read all year." Detra Fitch, Huntress Reviews, for "The Devil's Paradise"

"Aiden James is insanely talented! We are watching a master at work.... Ghost stories don't get any better than this." J.R. Rain, Author of "Moon Dance' and "Vampire Moon" for "The Raven Mocker"
