Separation of the Sheep and the Goats By Fra Angelico My name is Russell and my wife's name is Margie McDaniel we have been married for 36 years. We both have served the Lord for many years. We are both retired and now spend our time giving back to others. I come from a long line of Pastors in our family starting with my father. I have had 3 experiences with the Lord two at the age of 5 and one when I was 7. Even though I was very young I will never forget the experiences because they were so vivid it still seems like yesterday. I did not fully understand what happened to me until I started Seeking the Kingdom of Heaven. Now I understand my purpose. Everything living starts out as a seed but once it reaches maturity it has to fulfill a predestine function, an apple seed has to become an apple tree. Jesus uses a fig tree as an analogy for the Body of Christ. Jesus saw a fig tree that looked like it was full of figs from a distance. But when Jesus got closer there were no figs to be found. The leaves and figs develop at the same time so when you see leaves on a fig tree, figs should be present. Jesus cursed the fig tree because it was not fulfilling its purpose. Figs provide food and fulfill the need that hunger creates. The Body of Christ has the same responsibility. The Fruit that the Body of Christ is commanded to bear are the Fruit of the Spirit. The barren fig trees are like the foolish virgins they both looked productive until you look closer. This book explains why the Foolish Virgins were not fulfilling their divine destiny.
