The characters in Time in a Bottle: The Resonance take a wrong turn, and somehow end up in a place quite like "The Twilight Zone." The story begins with a young couple driving over a mountain road late at night during a bad Oregon storm. A large white bird flies in front of their truck and they lose control on a sharp corner, crashing through a guardrail and falling toward a deep lake. Flash forward to Kennedy Jones, a successful professor up for tenure. He begins to experience unexplainable and surreal incidents that terrify him. The experiences center on water, a mysterious woman, and a bird with black, hollow eyes. David Jones is a journalism graduate working at a dead-end job in a hospital until he can secure a career in media. He's putting off his engagement to Christy, a successful teacher, until his finances improve. What do these people all have in common and how are they cosmically related? Their lives seem to merge, until one day when David looks in the mirror, and he sees Kennedy's face. This spiritual, inter-dimensional story will touch readers on many levels. What happens in Time in a Bottle could be in everyone's future.
