The year is now 1797 and it's been two long years since Thomas Pilgrim and Barney High Tail left the coast of England. Having endured storms at sea and their ship being sunk by pirates, Thomas and Barney finally wash ashore on a remote island near Tahiti. As fate would have it, this island is already inhabited.
So begins young adult author Henry Hixson's second novel, "Thomas Pilgrim and Barney High Tail Island Adventures." Half dead and marooned is one thing, but discovering an existing family adds to his relief that they are no longer alone. Their fears and loneliness will be temporarily avoided.
Having published his first book, "The Adventures of Thomas Pilgrim and Barney High Tail," in 2010, Henry continues his love of writing. Always encouraging others for their God given hidden talents, Henry continues to share how success in life can be discovered by looking within, and sharing that talent with others. When not writing, Henry can be found enjoying a beautiful sunset on Edisto Island, S.C.
