Dawn Bell, Zoey Kay and Steph Warren have their ups and downs, as all high schoolers do. Some issues they vent about to each other and some they keep to themselves but, for the most part, they can handle what comes their way. However, their daily routine starts to get much more complicated, not to mention dangerous, when their fellow classmate Amy Cooper, and her own group of friends, starts to take a particularly violent interest in them. Now they and a new student Myah Rowland, whom Amy has also taken her special brand of liking to, have to keep their heads down and stay out of sight. Which may not be as bad as they think. Behind the closed doors of their homes, safe from judgemental parents and disturbed classmates and impossible expectations, they can be themselves. And there might just be a few things about Dawn, Zoey, Steph and Myah that even they don't know about themselves.
A story about friendship, trust and dedication. And the unequivocal truth that anyone can be family.
