ENGLISH DESCRIPTION A novel that erases the boundaries between reality and delusion.
"What would happen if, upon serving meat, someone would find a little man on their plate? Would they politely shove him away without a word, or would they point at him in terror?" A retired college professor settled into an apparently gray and unremarkable existence, governed by strict self-imposed rules, and torn between his daily family routine and his latest professional commitments, sees his life altered by the appearance of minuscule little men designed in the image and likeness of humans. Only he can sense them; he can also cross the boundaries of reality and go into the dimension these beings inhabit. One of the little men, created out of his own flesh and blood, presents himself as his tiny evil double and makes him an offer hard to refuse: to fulfill through him, in that other dimension unheard of to all others, his darkest desires, any perversions hidden in his mind since the beginning. And it is then everything begins to fall apart. This disinhibited and amusing novel is an argument defending the imagination. Juan Jos Mills opens a crack in reality to illuminate a different world where all dreams become possible.
