As an unvetted author, I am shattering the norm in writing with this fierce pocketbook that is based on a long life fueled by alcohol and drugs, due to the unresolved verbal, and physical abuse I endured at the hands of my father. I am incredibly raw with my experiences, while using dark and self-deprecating humor to soften the blow on the detrimental affects of a victim mindset. Most importantly, I have included the tools I used to overcome these addictions and internal scars. It is my goal that my explicit transparency will be helpful to those who have experienced the same or similar upbringings, and tragic life events.
