The Power of Testimonies is intended to stir up each reader to share his or her experience of the love, goodness, mercy, and grace of God. You do not have to be in a church setting to share your testimony. It may be during lunch break at work, at the hair salon, or in a grocery store. People need to hear about the goodness of the Lord. Ministry is wherever people are.
The Power of Testimonies was also written to encourage others who may be going through manifold temptations, test, and trials. It doesn't matter what your situation may be, whether it be physical, financial, a relationship, or a business affair. God has and will provide a way of escape in it and/or out of it. The testimonies shared in this book are proof.
The author's passion for teaching prompted her to share these testimonies in such a way that the reader will obtain an increased understanding on how to navigate through trials. Oftentimes, we spend more time in trials than necessary because of a lack or limited understanding. One reason we remain in trials longer than necessary is because of complaining. Complaining doesn't promote forward progress. Another reason for prolonged trials is that the heart and mouth are not congruent. The heart and mouth must be in agreement, working in accordance, in harmony together. The Power of Testimonies teaches how to rectify these two hindrances and others as well. We can go through trials and not be overtaken. We already have the victory.
