I was born and raised in Norfolk Virginia. I am the youngest of two daughters. My parents are Archie and Marguerite Smith. At an early age my family, friends and neighbors taught me the importance of a personal relationship with the Lord. My family attended Saint John AME church in Norfolk Va. I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior as a young girl at the age of thirteen while attending Mason Memorial Church of God In Christ. Like most teens the ways of the world tempted me and I stumbled in my walk. I backslid. God's love was ever present and continuous in my life. As a young mother and wife the importance of my personal relationship with the Lord became more prevalent and I rededicated myself to the Lord while attending The Way of The Cross C.O.G.I.C. During my walk with the Lord at times I wasn't as strong as I needed to be, God was faithful. I hope that Pew, Prayer and Praise will inspire others to hang on to their faith in God. Nothing is too hard for God. I am a true believer that a family that prays together stays together. May the grace of God our Father be upon all who reads this book, May the righteousness given to us through the blessed Son Christ Jesus by faith invoke us to be led by the Holy Spirit to walk in victory.
