It has been 120 years since the anarchist country of Cordellia was founded out of the eastern part of France, but since then the world has gone up in chaos. A black hole has appeared in the solar system, pulling the earth in the direction of the sun, promising death for everyone. The only way off the planet is by a ship in Israel, only allowed access by citizens of the country.
Chaos has, too, erupted in the mind of Aetheria (Eve) Elko, who's Cordellian blood and pessimistic thoughts are keeping her away from any form of longevity. But once her family decides to take the risk and go to Israel, abandoning all comfortability in hopes of an unlikely survival, Eve's world becomes one of much confusion. From the secrets of her and her family to that of her country, to the messages being sent to her from an unknown number, Eve's morals and trust is tested through a series of treacherous events. "On the Eve of Morning" is a book that dives deep into the relationships between family members and the unspoken fears of life and death.
