When the skeletal remains of a nursing student, who went missing in 1991, wash ashore on a beach in NC, four generations of families who start out as strangers find a reason to open their hearts in a quest to find the truth of what happened to Katie Morgan that November day, so long ago. A debut novel, A Measure of Kindness is a story about what happens when strangers reach out to help each other and find they are helping themselves, when feelings buried deep in their own souls are eventually revealed.
