I pray that everyone that reads this book will experience transformation as they make God the center of all their relationships. Also, I hope there will be clarity as to how prayer is a vital component of all relationships.
As I wrote this book, I remember my firsthand experience with praying fervently for A Love of a Lifetime partner. When I was in Junior High school, we had a sex education class. Around
the same time, I can remember many young girls my age was becoming pregnant. I was scared straight. This caused me to avoid
talking to or touching boys at all costs. On one occasion, I recall having a conversation with my cousin during our lunch period. He
insisted that I needed to give in to having sex and exploring intimacy. He alluded to the fact that "no one wanted any old stuff."
I assured him that God had someone unique for me and they would be happy with me after we were married. This was how I developed a passion for prayer. I began to
pray and ask the Lord to help me maintain my innocence and to also find a partner I desired. I was happy to be a virgin and my prayer was for a husband who also shared my sentiments. Godcgave me just that. Around mid-March of 1995, I found out a certain young man was interested in me. The first thing that happened was, his parents came to meet my parents. They wanted
to let my parents know their son was interested in marrying me. Apparently that meeting went well because the next weekend they brought their son to meet my parents. On that day he proposed to me, and I said yes! He was exactly what I prayed for. We were
married in December of 1995. My story might be different from yours but be cognizant of
the fact that God has that special someone for you. It is His will and desire for you to experience unconditional love. Just keep God first.
