This is Father Zajac's fourth book in a series called "Life Injections," and it is clear, that he has not run out of insights. It is amazing that Father Zajac continues to find in the simplest of daily interactions and observations, 'injections' as he calls them, that ultimately lead one to dwell on the more profound aspects of life. But Father Zajac's real gift is the ability to link, to link the ordinary with the extraordinary and then to remind us that this is indeed one of life's most important tasks. Reading these vignettes will help you see how to make that link and it is that connection which will ultimately serve to deepen your own spirituality.
I imagine Father Zajac to be a kind of gyroscope with antennae sticking out all over the place. The antennae are constantly searching and capturing the quotidian, the mundane, the commonplace and then, as only Father Zajac can do it, to metamorphose these into something deeper, richer and certainly, more fulfilling. For sure this is a gift, at once simple and profound. And is this not what a spiritual journal is all about, viz., taking the ordinary and lifting it to a higher plane? You will find in reading this book that your own perspective on life will change, some changes will be dramatic, some almost imperceptible, but in either case, the changes will lead you to a richer and more fulfilling life.
