This is a story of a mother's love for her son and basically how far a mother will go for that son during troubled times and still love him and support him through it all, never to condemn but to forgive, not excuse, and still love him.
It is also about the love that her son had for his mom and being sorry for his mistake in life and letting her and his loved ones down, and I think we all make mistakes for which we are sorry.
I would like to think of it as a lovely presentation of my real son, but I also hope that things are learned about the terrifying world he lived in that, fortunately, most people don't experience and have no knowledge of what goes on. I believe he faced it with great strength simply because of his faith and trust in God to get him through. There is no point or agenda, just our story.
