The Wolf is especially brilliant in finances and strategic planning at the highest levels and the Russian is a stone-cold killer and President Ivanovitch's personal assassin. Natasha Ivanov is President Ivanovitch's personal bodyguard and confidant, and the lover of Nikolai Bashov. Harry Sneed, CIA Director of Clandestine Operations, FBI Deputy Director Harold Thomas, and Sam Mountain, CIA Field Operator, match wits with them as their adversaries.
