In 2055, social networks and humanity's weaknesses are the Sentinels' preferred tools. The aliens have been observing Earth for a century to suppress human technological advancements or emerging neurodivergence that would violate galactic laws.
Ostracized from society, physicist Scott Anderson breaks the Sentinels' rules. Scott captures primordial black holes, which are the size of protons but contain the mass of mountains and a million megatons of potential energy. These tiny black holes could power human interstellar travel and planet-killing weaponry-the same physics advancement the Sentinels prohibit. Scott is torn between scientific ambitions and protecting his nine-year-old autistic brother, Robby, who carries a rare genetic trait outlawed by the Sentinels.
The Sentinels would subjugate the human race and destroy those that defy them.
But Scott Anderson dares to fight the aliens using the power of black holes.
