The ages of our lives are like the chapters of a book. Each time span in life tells of places and events that, like chapters in a book, lead us to the next phase until all the chapters finally come to a conclusion. Each age, like a chapter, brings more information and more knowledge and the desire to continue. And even though each age may bring joy or sadness, desires to press on or to give up, never quite desiring to know what the next chapter holds. Many times the last chapter carries a surprise ending. And so does life. Sometimes the negative chapters of a book can cause us to believe that the end will not turn out positive. But as you read each chapter of my life, you will see that not only can a book not be judged by its cover, neither can the end of its contents be judged based on the first chapters of its beginning The author's purpose of writing her autobiography was birthed when she remembered a comment that was said to her long ago. At the time, it didn't seem that significant. Then a revelation began to emerge and she realized that the Lord wanted her to let others know the truth. What was the comment that brought about this book? It was, "I bet you've been a Christian all your life." Wanda Byce has written other books that continue to bring honor and glory to God. No greater honor can be bestowed upon God then to receive the love and forgiveness He has made possible through His Son's finished work at the cross. It is because of that love, Wanda Byce has decided to share her life where all can see that it's not what we have done, or what has been done to us, but what Jesus Christ has already done for us that determines our lifestyle examples to others. You will have no difficulty after reading this book, deciding whether or not she has been a Christian all her life.
