Lynn is a teenager who was forever hopeful that he could learn to get along with his critical mother, do well in high school, become good friends with a pretty girl named Sara, and play football despite being blind in one eye and forbidden by his mother. A certain bully in his high school has targeted him to ridicule him "for fun," and after Lynn asks Jesus Christ to take control of his life, he wants to help the bully. He is "Forever Hopeful" that God will use him in that way and in all of his life.
