These records have copied from old Treasury Papers in the Public Record Office in London. This book lists approximately 2,000 persons by age, station, occupation, residence in Scotland, destination in America, and reasons for emigrating. Ports of entry in the US were: New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, NC; Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC; and ST. Johns Island. This work is of great value in bridging the Atlantic during the years of 1774-1775.
