The Draco Twins is a series of children's books discussing differences in children and many of the struggles children face in today's world. The main characters are Dusty and Daisy Draco, young dragon twins. Other characters include the twins' parents who assist them in learning life's lessons.
Like all twins, Dusty and Daisy have a very special close relationship. Daisy is an adventurous risk-taker and Dusty is more careful and thoughtful. Daisy loves new and different things and places to explore. She is quick to act, many times without thinking first. Dusty usually goes along with Daisy's adventures. However, he, then, helps Daisy to resolve the problems she often unwittingly creates. Dusty's difference helps him to solve the problems Daisy creates.
In The Draco Twins Help a Friend Deal with Divorce, the Draco Twins while splashing in the puddles after a rain storm, meet their classmate, Sarah. Sarah looks sad and can't play with them because she has chores to finish. Dusty and Daisy decide to help Sarah with her chores instead of playing in the puddles. Soon the twins discover Sarah is sad because her parents are divorced.
In this third book of the series, Daisy, of course, causes a problem and Dusty saves the day. The twins learn that Sarah's parents are divorced. Talking with Sarah, the twins help Sarah find hope in knowing how much her parents love her.
