"Does This Coffin Make Me Look Fat?" is a collection of original stories, poems, prose, ideas, and art, and a sharing of intense vulnerability on the subjects of breast cancer, survival, loss, death, divorce, marriage, family, and of course, comedy.
Flori Hendron was an artist, writer, and designer. She fought breast cancer for 26 years, including an astounding 16 years living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She was an avid advocate for the breast cancer community, and a deep believer in the value of finding meaning in the process and in the idea that how we treat life is more important than how life treats us.
Flori spent many years writing and curating these stories to be shared with her friends and passed down through her family for generations to come. Through this collection, we can forever connect with Flori's vibrant spirit as a rule breaker, truth-teller, dedicated advocate, brilliant writer, and cancer's funniest victim.
