This book doesn't attempt to explain Islam. It gives the reader, whether novice or expert, a window into the wisdom and experience of a man who might be described as a typical practitioner. His focus throughout his time as a Muslim has been to give dawah; invite others to a way of life he firmly believes is best for mankind. Described herein is the practice (not the theory) of Islam. There are manners and etiquettes. There are inner contemplations. There are pathways to peace through all circumstances. All of these things contribute to teaching the reader to find personal peace and healing. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, this is a manual for those who would like to increase the peace they have found and to share it with others. This is important because this manual describes the practice of what is largely a lost art; an art which is needed more today than at most times in history.
