How To Be Close to God

The Kabbalist Rabbi

Yaakov Adas

Every person has a very deep inner desire to get closer to Hashem, blessed be He. There are people who feel it many times and there are people who feel it only a few times, but the inner root is present in every person.

And the answer to this is that in every person there is a holy soul whose sole desire is to do the will of God, may God be blessed with all the powers, but there are many layers to the soul and sometimes there are layers whose will is different and sometimes it is the other layers that activate the actions of the person, especially if these layers were influenced by an environment that does not follow the way of worshiping God, therefore even This person who failed - in any case, could have made such a revolution in one moment because in the truth of his soul he was a very holy soul whose desire to worship God be blessed at any cost.

Rabbi Yaakov Adas authored dozens of books on a huge scale in all Torah subjects known as "The Words of Yaakov" in which his immense greatness in the Torah is evident., Rabbi Jacob Ades - a great scholar who is well versed in all parts of the Torah. His special personality crosses sectors in the Israeli public and he is admired and appreciated by everyone.

His great-grandfather is Rabbi Avraham Haim Adas, a Kabbalist of God, holy and a master of miracles.

From his childhood he was revealed as a child prodigy. When he was about two years old, he already knew how to read. He simply skipped the stage of learning the letters of the א-ב.

Scholars who studied at the Kol Ya'akov yeshiva at the time say that they would see him studying persistently for hours upon hours in a loud voice and with great concentration, with most of the time he studied standing. There were also those who followed him and noticed that he only slept two to two and a half hours a day.

He despises a life of luxury and comfort and lives modestly and simply.
