there's no other way to explain how kleine creates atmosphere - he is translating something outside of language and putting it into language, through the experience of very ordinary people doing ordinary things. third world magicks gives us the experience of the exceptional through the vessel of the banal. i'm not sure if this is irony or if it is just what is true to the human experience, maybe it is both. the one thing i am sure of is third world magicks is a synesthetic masterpiece.
