The journey to write this book started as a solution to a multi-faceted problem. First, there was the issue facing many of our students that involve the high cost of textbooks. Second was finding a balance between the knowledge available to learn and the amount that can be learnt in any given time. Thirdly, I wanted to create a book that emphasized constructivism in a way to help new teachers visualize their role as an instructional facilitator. It is these three problems I hope to solve with this take on a science methods book designed specifically for beginning teachers and teacher candidates.
