In the vision, I sit at a small writing desk, head wearily leaning on my left hand. Discouragement prevents me from writing words of hope. Jesus sees my frustration. He puts His arm around my shoulder and places His hand over my penned right hand. He whispers the words He wants me to say. "Write the Stories," is an assortment of personal stories of God's intervention in the chaos and pain of this short life. The stories are a testament of how God intervenes when we place our trust and hope in Him Whether young or old. we all encounter trials and difficulties of life. Everyone will encounter sickness, death, fear, or poverty at some point in life. It is inevitable because we live in a fallen world. God tells us to place our worries and fears into His caring hands. He gives abundant life to those who trust in Him. Kim Armstrong has been a Registered Nurse for more than forty years. Her work includes Intensive Care, Cardiac and Hospice units. She has traveled to third world countries as a medical missionary and currently serves as Missions Pastor at her church. Kim has witnessed the despair and hopelessness of people. "Write the Stories!" It is a collage of short stories pointing out God's intervention in the hopeless situations of life. Kim lives between Western PA and Eastern NC with her husband Kelley and Dalley, her long-haired white shepherd.
