ADVENTURE AWAITS

My son has four weeks free this year, and has asked if I would be interested in travelling to the UK and showing him where his grandparents lived and went to school. I wasn’t going to turn that offer down – so, as I am the family ‘planner’, I have spent a few months pulling together a holiday to catch up with my aunt in Cheshire and visit Pownall School Hall (my mother-in-law’s maiden name was Pownall), then travel on to Denton in Manchester – where I spent a lot of school holidays with my great-aunt and uncle.
