THE STORY SO FAR: When Carrie inherits her Auntie Jean’s house on a far-flung Hebridean island, she plans to sell it right away. After all, her life is in London. However, when she arrives to sort out its contents, she remembers how much she loved the island as a little girl. Soon, befriended by neighbour Helen, she starts to feel like her old self – before her husband Paul left her heartbroken.
