Kate Winslet Starring In Her Son’s Movie!

It’s a real family affair on the London set of Kate Winslet’s directorial debut Goodbye June, a Netflix family drama by her budding filmmaker son, Joe Anders! Kate, 49, is taking on dual roles in the movie, and has been seen filming alongside co-star Toni Collette. Kate’s 21-year-old son, whose dad is esteemed director Sam Mendes, wrote the script about a “fractured group of siblings” facing hard times. Joe’s had plenty of experience going to work with his famous parents, starring alongside Kate in her 2023 film Lee and in front of dad Sam’s camera for his war film 1917. “Luckily, they’re good,” Kate says of Joe and older sister Mia’s acting abilities. “These are kids who have been testing [me] on [my] lines pretty much since they could read……
