Stacy's life was planned out. She gets A's in school and has two loving parents. Until the cops showed up on night and give her the worst news of her life. She's forced to move across the country to live with family she's never met in small town in Wyoming. Her mother taught her to hate everything about this place and the people in it. When a cowboy offers to help to her on day one, she's quick to show him what she thinks about being stuck on the ranch. Her only goal is to get back to Florida and far away from this place.
Jack's dream is to build a life and have a love like his parents. But first he has to win the bull riding championship and buy a ranch of his own. He never counted on her putting a wrench in his plans. She's just a distraction, one he can't afford when on the back of a bull for eight seconds at a time. The harder he fights his feelings for her, the stronger they grow and more agitated he gets.
Stacy will learn that blood doesn't make someone family and family doesn't always have her best interest at heart. When Jack comes back from the rodeo to find her covered in bruises and living with her best friend, he'll make sure it never happens again. She'll be left with a choice; go back to Florida or take a chance on the life she could have with her newfound family.
