CES 2021 had an unprecedented online-only format, but the show still featured the usual high number of new product announcements

Rather than taking over Las Vegas’s Conventional Center, CES 2021 – the 51st edition of the event – was an all-digital experience. With no physical event taking place, companies shared their latest innovations online via the organiser’s media hub instead. Though it was a markedly different affair, the consumer electronics show kept up its tradition of being a stage on which the latest, greatest and craziest technological innovations are introduced – including Sony’s Airpeak drone, Samsung’s butler robot and tunable glasses with adjustable lens strength. CES is also a reliable launchpad for the next-generation technology coming to our homes.
