Hochwertige TV-Geräte eignen sich prima als riesige PC-Monitore – doch es geht auch andersherum. Mit Samsungs smarten Monitoren bekommt man die schärfste Desktopdarstellung, aber auch jede Menge Cloudfeatures, von Videoon-Demand bis hin zum Remote-Office.

Normalerweise kann ein Display für uns nicht groß genug sein. Im Wohnzimmer sollten es schon 65 bis 77 Zoll sein, und kürzlich erklärten wir 42 Zoll zu unserer Lieblingsgröße für Computerarbeit, jedoch liegen die passenden OLED-TVs bei gut 1500 Euro Anschaffungskosten. Ultra-HD Fernsehgeräte unter 40 Zoll gibt es gar keine, denn die hohe Schärfe kann man nur aus einem halben Meter Sehabstand richtig differenzieren. Wer es also auf dem Schreibtisch kompakt haben möchte, muss tatsächlich einen echten PC-Monitor kaufen – wie den hier getesteten 32-Zöller Samsung S32BM700U. Der ist allerdings deutlich mehr als nur ein Display, das die Pixeldaten von der Eingangsbuchse auf das Panel schiebt. Samsung hat ihm das Betriebssystem Tizen spendiert, mit dem nicht nur jede Menge Video-on-Demand-Apps und IoT möglich sind, sondern auch Cloudgaming und Remote Work.…
