WHO’S ON THE BROOMSTICK: Gal Gadot gives Us delicious shivers as the Evil Queen in this shiny-new-as-a-red-apple adaptation (in theaters March 21). And it’s hard to argue against that when her pointy crown looks like a pretty solid weapon.
ANTICIPATION LEVEL: The film has been poisoned by some of its stars’ offscreen opinions. But for menace + a major lipstick moment, we’ll bite.

WHO’S ON THE BROOMSTICK: Young Elphaba, future Wicked Witch of the West, gets her origin story (on sale March 25). As ever, it’s not easy being green: When she’s taken outside, the hope is “to bleach her with sunlight, like stained sheets.”
ANTICIPATION LEVEL: Anything Wicked is a no-brainer.…
