Australia’s elite women have two international series, including the Ashes this summer as the game’s popularity continues to soar

Cricket’s greatest rivalry is coming, with two Ashes series in the 2025 calendar year. This summer, from January 30 to February 2, Australia plays England in the Women’s Ashes in a day-night pink-ball Test at the MCG. Alyssa Healy’s titleholders also host England in an ODI at the CitiPower Centre in St Kilda as part of the three-format series. ‘Having a women’s day/night Ashes Test at the MCG is a milestone and fantastic opportunity for Victorians to see the best team in the world in action against our arch rivals,’ said Cricket Victoria’s CEO Nick Cummins.
