Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas in Walford without a huge secret being exposed – Max and Stacey’s affair; Sharon’s fling with Keanu; and Alfie being Hayley’s babyfather are all bombshells that have gone off against a backdrop of turkey and tinsel. So it should come as no surprise that Janine’s sick stunt in the summer – when she framed sozzled Linda for her car crash, leading Linda to have daughter Annie taken off her – finally comes to light. But the big question is: what will happen to Mick? Danny Dyer has, of course, quit the soap, and tabloid photos have shown him filming scenes in which his alter ego plunges from a cliff.
