Stephen panics when Leo’s dad starts to uncover the truth

Tis the season to be stressed… especially if you’re Stephen Reid. The cobbles killer fears he’s finally done for when Leo’s dad Teddy discovers that his son never left Weatherfield. Even before Teddy’s arrival, Stephen’s quaking in his brogues. He comes unstuck when he attempts a spot of regifting, and has some explaining to do when Gail catches up with his estranged wife Gabrielle. Meanwhile, Sarah’s badgering him for the £10K he has vowed to invest in her new company. All that becomes small potatoes when Jenny reveals Teddy has been in touch from Canada and has some new information to share. ‘Those two people are looking for Leo, so that keeps alive Stephen’s fear of being caught,’ says actor Todd Boyce, who plays the deadly fraudster.
