Nuwe lewe vir ’n ou stoel Ingrid Nuy van Kaapstad skryf Ek wil ’n stoel herstoffeer wat ek jare gelede gekry het toe ek in ’n studentehuis gebly het. My ma dink dis die lelikste stoel ooit; sy noem dit die “Toad of Toad Hall”. Ek dink weer dit vertel ’n storie en het karakter; dis lekker gemaklik, maar die lap is oud en verbleik. Ek wil dit graag oortrek in ’n natuurlike palet of met sagte groene en titsels blou, pienk en ander neutrale kleure, of iets met ’n neutrale agtergrond en spatsels pienk en grys. Die stoel is bestem vir die kantoorhoekie van ons slaapkamer; ek wil daarop sit terwyl ek op my skootrekenaar werk. Enige raad?
