Long-standing chair of Superyacht Australia, Barry Jenkins, has retired after 15 dedicated years in the role.
His vast experience in the marine industry over many years has seen him as General Manager of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show; Director of the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX); Vice President and President of the Boating Industry Association of Queensland/Marine Queensland; Director, Vice President and President of the Australian Marine Industries Federation and the Founding Chairman of Super Yacht Base Australia now Superyacht Australia.
CEO of Superyacht Australia, David Good, said Barry has led the industry with great distinction and enthusiasm. “You don’t earn the nickname of ‘Mr Boat Show’ without having a major impact on the industry,” he said.
