Multnomah Falls, Oregon

At 620 feet high, Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon. Located 30 miles from Portland and part of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area, the waterfall attracts more than 2 million visitors each year. It gets water from the underground springs from Larch Mountain. Bobcats, yellow-bellied marmots, California ground squirrels, Peregrine falcons, Pacific tree frogs, and garter snakes live here, along with various species of salmon, including Chinook salmon.
