Inspiring film about a young athlete

Atalented athlete who was born without legs or hands is the star of a new documentary. Landis: Just Watch Me follows Landis Sims, a teen from Indiana, who dreams of making his high school baseball team. The film is available to rent or own on cable TV and streaming platforms. Director Eric Cochran first spotted Landis when he was a young boy playing baseball at an event. He had prosthetic legs, held his bat tucked against his body, and was smashing balls into the outfield. “I was mesmerized,” Cochran told The Week Junior. The film checks in with Landis over the course of eight years.
