I always said I wanted to grow up and be a professional baseball player, but I didn’t realize it was something I could and wanted to fully pursue until I made the 12U National Team. Role model Derek Jeter was my favorite player growing up. He was a leader on the field and played the game the right way. It was fun watching him make his signature jump throw.
