Climber on a mission

Nepalese mountaineer Hari Budha Magar has become the first double above-knee amputee to reach the top of Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, which stands at 22,831 feet. Magar, a former British Army soldier, lost both legs in an explosion while serving in Afghanistan in 2010. He now uses prosthetic (artificial) legs and has climbed five of the Seven Summits, the tallest mountains on each continent. His goal is to complete all seven. Magar hopes to inspire people with disabilities around the world. He told the BBC, “Disabled people can do anything.”…
