At first, I did it just to have fun, but once we started getting better and more competitive, I stuck with it. Role models Growing up, I loved watching Julie Johnson (now Ertz) and Mal Pugh (now Swanson) play soccer. They were always in the air scoring and were so entertaining. Training plan We practice at least four or five times a week, and we also lift weights. Almost every day on the field we have passing patterns, which is about getting touches and getting your feet warmed up. On some days, we end practice with shooting or attacking-type games.
