Air and Space Museum reopens

After months of renovations, the West End of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, reopened to visitors in October. The museum contains artifacts related to aviation and space exploration. With eight new and updated galleries, the museum is now “more vibrant,” head curator Jeremy Kinney told The Week Junior. One new addition is an X-wing Starfighter from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Going forward, the museum will tell more stories about men and women in aerospace history. “We’re making sure that we inspire people with technology, but we’re also inspiring them to see themselves,” Kinney said.…
