Electric plane sets records

An aircraft built by aerospace company Rolls-Royce hit a top speed of 387.4 miles per hour and set three world records. The plane, called Spirit of Innovation, became the world’s fastest electric vehicle, traveling 345 mph over a distance of 1.86 miles—132 mph faster than the previous record. For its other two records, the aircraft traveled 331 mph over 9.32 miles and made the fastest climb to an altitude of 1.86 miles, in 3 minutes, 22 seconds.
