New bridge aims to help animals

A bridge that will help animals safely cross a busy freeway in Southern California broke ground in April. When finished, the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing will be the largest of its kind in the world. The crossing is being built primarily to help the area’s mountain lions. Mountain lions have gotten killed by cars while attempting to cross California freeways. Other species, like bobcats and coyotes, are also expected to use it.…
