Tell us about Tyger. Tyger is a mysterious, mythical, magical animal. In a world where almost all animals are extinct, she is something incredible and impossible. Do you plan books out? I always write many drafts. On a first draft, I make it up spontaneously as I go along. Then I start to plan things out, to see how to make my story better. Then I work on it, draft after draft, improving it each time. I did 19 drafts of Tyger; that’s how long it took to make it the very best book it could be. What inspired you to write Tyger?
