A new game from Google transports you back in time to Mesoamerica, an area that stretched from Mexico to parts of Central America (“meso” is Greek for middle; Mesoamerica is now referred to as Central America). The game is an exciting way to explore and learn about some of the peoples who lived in the region thousands of years ago, such as the Maya and Aztec civilisations. The Descent of the Serpent (tinyurl.com/TWJ-Meso) starts in a colourful maze. Choose one of the four cute characters disguised as Maya and Aztec gods. Then, enter and explore the maze where your mission is to find lost objects including an ancient calendar, a rabbit sculpture, a wooden drum and a flower cup.
