Some people say the hunt is a huge waste of time and money.

Since 2020, the US government has released several video showing UAPs. They seem to show strange objects flying through the sky and moving in surprising ways that confused the aircraft pilots who saw them. What were they? The answer is not clear, so NASA has set up a team to investigate similar UAPs. Although there might be explanations for UAPs – such as strange weather patterns we haven’t seen before – they could be proof of aliens. Many people think there are intelligent life forms in the universe other than humans. However, millions of pounds have been spent searching for aliens and no-one has found proof.
